Our church aims to humbly seek justice, mercy, and shalom in our community. When people are hurting, marginalized, or vulnerable, we love them by advocating for them and supporting them through their challenges. This is how we follow the leadership of Jesus to “love your neighbor as yourself”. Here are some resources to help you advocate for your neighbors.

CHRISTIANITY & SEXUALITY
In the summer of 2024 SGE hosted a Growth Group to explore various positions and perspectives on Christianity & Sexuality. The leaders of that group compiled an ever-growing resource list that can be found HERE. Our church is home to a diversity of perspectives on sexuality and we welcome that. We practice inclusivity in our worship and leadership while simultaneously providing space for multiple perspectives on affirmation.
